Ms. Jody M. Taliaferro joined Cox, Wootton, Griffin, Hansen & Poulos, LLP as an associate in May 2008. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Taliaferro worked in acquisitions and divestitures for a commercial real estate investor.
While in law school, Ms. Taliaferro was Senior Associate Survey and Index Editor, as well as a Technical Editor of the University of San Francisco Maritime Law Journal. In addition, she worked for Professor Peter Jan Honigsberg as his research assistant conducting investigative research for a book on the legal complexities facing enemy combatants in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. While in law school, Ms. Taliaferro received American Jurisprudence Awards in International Business Transactions and Maritime Law.
