Cox Wootton Named Top Firm in San Francisco For Maritime Law by Best Lawyers In America® 2011
Cox, Wootton, Griffin, Hansen & Poulos, LLP, is pleased to announce that for the third year in a row, the Firm has been listed as the top firm in San Francisco for Maritime Law, and three of the Firm's lawyers have been listed among the Nation's preeminent lawyers by Best Lawyers in America® 2011 (copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Aiken, SC). Lawyers are selected for listing and Law Firms are ranked in Best Lawyers in America® exclusively through exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate professional peers. Partners Richard C. Wootton, Rupert P. Hansen and Gregory W. Poulos are the California law firm's individual attorneys listed in Best Lawyers in America® 2011, in the field of Maritime Law (copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Aiken, SC). Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 39,000 leading attorneys cast almost 3.1 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
