Ms. Courtney M. Crawford joined Cox, Wootton, Griffin, Hansen and Poulos, LLP as an associate in 2007. Ms. Crawford’s work is focused on maritime commercial transactions and maritime personal injury matters. Prior to joining CWGHP, Ms. Crawford was an associate at Bledsoe, Cathcart, Diestel and Pederson, LLP, also in San Francisco, California, where she gained extensive litigation experience defending complex, high demand personal injury cases. While in law school, Ms. Crawford was Senior Associate Literary Editor of the University of San Francisco Maritime Law Journal. She assisted in the drafting of the Journal’s Amicus Brief to the United States Supreme Court in Stewart v. Dutra Const. Co. (543 U.S. 481). While in law school Ms. Crawford was a Faculty Scholar and she received American Jurisprudence Awards in Employment Discrimination and Labor Law. Ms. Crawford sat on the Steering Committee for the 2006 Pacific Admiralty Seminar. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the Queen’s Bench. Ms. Crawford has trial experience in California State Court. She is admitted to practice law in all of the state and federal courts of California.
